Front anti roll bar drop link & Foglight switch
The forum datebase entries are
1. Vauxhall Vectra S10H- 34150
My local Vauxhall dealer says this is not a Vauxhall part number and asked what year & model of Vectra
2.Foglight switch Mazda MX5
Any idea what year & model.

My third requirement to pass my Bongo MOT is a foot brake pedal rubber cover.

Any help with these three items would be much appreciated.

I think that this is the beastie you are after - from any MK1 model - make sure it has the little illumination bulb aperture - a couple of quid if you insist on asking a scrappie

That droplink number may be for a non OEM part. Why would you go to a Vauxhall dealer for a Bongo part? You can quite easily source them on e-bay or from a local motor factor.

My nearest motor factor is happy to supply filters & oil, nothing else.
Ebay price range is £12.50 - £47.50 for a front drop link and I prefer to see what I am buying.
The Bongo link not to be taken off looks like OEM and could be good for another 12 years.
The compatible parts database suggested Vauxhall Vectra link is £20.10
but is not as substantial, approximately half the weight.
Still to buy and open to recommendations.

Got to agree there RANT - the original is a much beefier component. I doubt the flimsy effort I fitted a few weeks back will last 2 years never mind 12

It's not the weight of the droplink that is important, it's the effectiveness of the boots that protect the balljoints. You are quite right in that you may get longer out of a pair of OEM ones but are they really worth 5x more the price? (conservative estimate)

That is NOT a motor factor....................
