Just pull the bottom forwards, it should be a friction fit. If not ..remove clock and superglue a couple of small "stops" What colour does it light up?? The frame looks a little bent, you need to file off a bit of the locating lugs to correct that.

thanks haydn, ill have a lookie in the daylight tomorrow and see if i can get it in a bit better.
lights up orange at the moment which is ok as the cd player is red, red or green would probably be better. do you know a part umber or bulb type for it if i decide to change him?

Along the same lines. . . .

I've just fitted one of Haydns clocks & mighty fine it looks too!

A couple of niggles though, the light stopped working after an hour. (haven't checked the wiring yet though) & the fit was a little tight, a bit of a squeeze width wise which has made it curve in the middle at the top & bottom. ( will have a bash at filing off a bit of locating lugs)

All in though - a very nice touch to the dash that really does look right.

Hi Meek tv & MM, there is a bit of a knack to get the surround to fit perfectly chaps...(some fit spot on first time, others dont  )

The two little lugs at the top of the shroud has a recess that is supposed to slot into the ridge above.

The recess isn't quite big enough to slot into place,i used a very sharp scalpel, and a very steady hand to nibble away at the lugs till they eventually slotted in nicely.

The more time you take with the lugs, the better the fit

Don't shout at me if you chop your thumb off though!

It was a suprisingly time consuming "adjustment" I must have been fiddling with it for over an hour! (the clock! )

P.S. like the height sign, where's that from?

Contact me for bulbs. (THIS IS NOT A ADVERT) If you have a led bulb fitted don't forget they are polarity sensitve. If it won't work then turn 180 degrees and try again.

a bit of shaving down with a craft knife and its in a lot better.
biggest improvement is i realised the iso connector was fouling something behind the cd player so it wasn't goin in all the way, bit of a tweak and a little brute force and its all sitting much nicer. thanks peops 8)
