Just searching for a glue to stick battens to bongo floor - everyone says use Sikaflex.. but which one? there's a whole range to choose from and at £7-9 a tube I want to get the right one!! Any recomendations? Ta

What are you fastening the battens to the floor for?
Why not use nutserts so you can remove them if you wish.
With countersunk headed screws they would sit below the face of the wood and not be in the way.

I think the original idea was to stop a cold bridge and / or rust problems associated with unnecessary drilling of the floor. The sikaflex most suitable would be 221 available via ebay all in for about £9.
The problem with other adhesives like no nails, scilicone etc is they are either not strong enough or not flexible etc.

Thanks guys - Madmile is spot on - trying to avoid drilling more holes when fixing new floor. I'll screw the ply down so that is removable but didnt want to pepper the floor with holes.. Sikaflex221 it is then!

If you look up sika on the web you will be able to get a local supplier. I got mine at £6 inc.
