rear spoiler brake light

Post by ford tinny » Sat Oct 27, 2007 9:20 pm

Hello, the brake light on my rear spoiler isn't working, so on closer inspection i found that it isn't plugged in---- there is no other wires lurking about, so i must presume that the spoiler wasn't wired up when fitted. Does anyone know how to wire this up PLEASE!!!!!
Thanks John (Ford Tinny) :?

Just take two wires from the light ,one to earth and one to the brake light cluster.just find which wire is the brake light, then connect it up.
Lost without my Bongo.

No Tail Light

Post by Gaza69 » Tue Oct 30, 2007 10:51 pm

This is my first post, tehee

When i got my Bongo 4 months ago i to noticed the tail light wasnt working, but on top of that the rear speakers although wired Weren’t working either. So as i was trying to fix the rear speakers i found under the rear drivers side side cubby box thing, 2 wires not connecting, strangley these fixed the tail lights problem, but unfortunatly not the speakers. :( so have put that to the bottom of "to do list". ha have that for a first one, hehe

Welcome to the forum.
You may actually find that one rear speaker is working - that's because lots of Bongos only have one fitted on the passenger side.

Well When i picked up the bongo before i had the conversion all the speakers were working, but strangely afterwards none of them was working. After scratching my head for a LONG while i unplugged the back speakers and Aha the front speakers now work?? any ideas? i just pressume that in the process of the conversion going in they must have gone through a wire?? P.S Might sound really dumb but i want a pic on my name thing on the left how do i upload?
