gear box oil / axle

Help please, how much oil is in the auto gearbox, also the front and back axils.

Hi Duncan, The auto box takes approximately 4 litres of dexron 3 ATF, the diffs use a SAE-90 (GL-5) gear oil, or a (GL-6) if your bongo has an L.S.D

Is there any external evidence of an LSD being fitted?

Yep - dilated pupils are a pretty good indication.

As far as i'm aware there is no way of telling visually if there is an LSD fitted scanner.

Aside from the usual wheels off the ground and spin them tests...

Our van has a small sticker near to the rear diff filler hole telling that it's lsd
