rear fog lamps

can anybody tell me where a flush fitting fog lamp has to be placed legally on rear bumpers? Cracked my old one and the garage has put two crappy looking plastic ones attached by two crappy looking brackets hanging off the rear bumper. Cheers Wendy in S.Wales

They should be placed on the drivers side of the rear bumper but you can have them on both sides if you want.

Flush fitting lights are readily available on e.bay or one of the suppliers advertising on this webside such as Bongobits. To fit them it is necessary to cut into the rear bumper.

If you look at photos posted on this Forum of meets etc you will see Bongos with them fitted.

You can also fit it in the middle just like the Peugeot 206.

Yes you can fit your rear fog light in the middle of the bumper but I would not advise it if you want to fit a tow bar at some later date.
