Flashing ABS and Airbag Lights

Post by JD » Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:39 pm

I have a strange problem with my Freda - after driving for about 20 minutes or more the Airbag and ABS lights begin to flash. They seem to follow a sequence of six flashes and then a pause and six flashes and a pause and so on. They don't always do this especially if it's only a short trip ?? It's a mystery...... any ideas greatly appreciated.

:D 8) : Hi, had a similar problem this year with ABS light and was given advice that its usually down to poor insulation at the rear of the instrument cluster. Did just that removed the pod dusted the back reconnected and hey presto no bother since.

Had the same on a Ford some time back just
took the abs relays out cleaned the connections and
put em back fixed.

Don't know were they are on the Bongo though.

Hi. Does your horn work. If not, maybe its the wiring in the steering wheel, although unlikely if ABS is also flashing :?
