interior measurement?

Hi, can anyone tell me the max inside length from the back of the drivers/passenger seat to the closed rear door? I'm bongoless 'til next wednesday,but need to know!!

The engine bay protrudes rearward of the front seats. The measurement from the base of the engine bay to the rear door is 212 cm or 6' 11 1/2".
You have then got a further 8" or so to the backs of the front seats but obviously this is dependant on where you have them adjusted.
In other words the maximum rectangular floorspace would be 212cm long.

Not sure if of any use, but can get an 8x4 sheet of wood in there if you prop it up on the front seat head rests.

Thanks again! The reason I need the measurement is I'm running a whitewater kayaking trip with friends to slovenia in the spring and to avoid car hire and excess baggage on the plane,etc, I'm driving down hopefully with a Bongo full of boats and kit! Any not inside will go on the roof. Fingers crossed, most of the boats are 7' - 7'8", so I should pack a few inside!
