Whilst reading about Bongo cooling woes I came across an article which shows a pic of a bleed hose under the passenger seat and attached to the engine block just below the oil filler.
Curious I thought (having had some air con issues recently), I dont remember seeing that.
I have just looked ....and indeed dont have one - or anywhere where it looks like one was attached!!
I have the 96 2.5 TD although engine was replaced 6 months ago (I wasnt owner then) with a recon.
Does anyone know if later engines had a different arrangement??
Missing coolant bleed tube ??

Little Bleeder
Ours hasn't got one ether, if you look on the Cylinder
head behind the alternator a steel elbow comes out
in the case of having the bleed tube it as 3 connections
ours only as 2

I reckon the ones with the missing pipes have an engine/head from a Ford Ranger or Mazda B2500 pickup which don't need the bleed pipe as they haven't got rear heaters.
Best to fit a bleed pipe for ther Bongo though!
