fog light warning light

Post by John the sparky » Wed Oct 03, 2007 6:47 pm

My bongo came with the usual dangly and toggle switch, which I modified, and fitted the fog light in the bumper... with the info on the factsheet,

but the toggle switch annoyed me, so I robbed one from a 323... but there is no warning light, so I cut the display from the set of clocks I got the mph speedo from, and superglued it into the spare lamp hole on the bongo clocks and soldered a couple of wires to the board, one to earth and the other to the foglight wiring......

and now I know the fog light is on.... (I thought this was a legal requirement for cars? did they just miss it at the SVA?)

Am I now too retentive to be on this forum??
