Funny noise rattle/steering wheel wobble when applying brake

Post by Will » Sun Sep 30, 2007 7:58 pm

Hi all,

Thought I'd just update you. The Bongo went into Ian Taylors for a full service. The steering wheel wobble was down to the front discs. Ian replaced front discs and pads, also replaced drop link bushes. - all under warranty. Just returned from a 700 mile round trip to Scotland, all shaking and wobbling gone - runs like a dream - thanks to Ian Taylor. (Full service £98-00 + VAT) Had the Bongo for two days and gave me a courtesy car.

The annoying rattle was down to the leisure battery clamp was not securely screwed down. - Easy when you know how.

Good news. I nearly bought from Ian only a private came up before he had my spec. V helpful guy indeed.
