Post by AndAndDen » Sat Sep 29, 2007 8:02 pm

While cleaning the Bongo today, thought i would have a look behind the brake light lense on the spoiler, I found quite a bit of Jap grime , so might be worth a look

Is the light much brighter now? Will look at mine if results merit it. Is it easy to remove? 8)

Good, in fact rather better than the Vectra!

There is a big trade-off between the BongoVersatility on the road compared to the HymerCumbersomeness, but the Hymer is winning in the comfort stakes when camping.
Hot showers, fixed bog. Readymade bed, access from the cab seats - in fact the cab seats rotate and become habitation recliners.
I can have a lie-in while Lynda goes off for a walk - she even makes tea for me before she goes - bliss!

Off to France for a fortnight next weekend.

Seafrance £68 return. Dover - Calais - Dover.

Heading down to the Loire Valley.

Usually do the longer western crossings but at £450-ish we have chosen to do the long drive the other side instead.

We find the same with the Symbol, except for the fixed bed.
Still it doesn't take long to make the bed up (does it Mrs. D  )

Enjoy the Loire.

Did you try Newhaven - Dieppe? 4 hours.
If we depart Dieppe at 0630 we are in Angers/Tours by 10:00, in time for mid morning cognac

Have a good one anyway.
