:P passer by? no doubt would have to wait ages

Might try a single flush fitting as already have a flush fog on the other side. What I ended up doing, when reversing in the dark the last time, was to switch the rear fog on. That give me enough light  Must remember to switch the fog off, straight after

Anyway, would these make a difference? :-

Hmm, if the 9led sidelights are anything to go by,then those 24 LED jobs will probably singe the retinas of people unfortunate enough to glance in that direction!

8-[ purchased form ebay above LED in my last post. Will let you know how they compare [-o<

Mikey B... Are those twin element(so to speak) ie tail light and brake light in one?

Could of done with LED lights inside the works Sprinter. Accidentally left the internal light on, in the back, over the weekend  luckly found out earlier on tonight (had day off) when I was grabbing tools for removing rear bench seat as a dummy run for the holidays. So I have had to remove the battery, to charge ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) and its not a small battery either

LED's arrived today, Tried one just now, too see if it makes a big difference, you decide

Which is the LED :?:

What I did notice was that the biggest problem with the reversing lights is that they don't light up the road behind, so the rear screen mirror is useless. Might in the future add extra lights under rear bumper, to light up the road behind. :-k

I'm not certain that the lip on the bottom of the rear bumper is wide enough to house a hidden light, without compromising the structual integrity of the bumper brora...

The flush fit lights on my bongo have been fitted with "downward" illumination in mind. I didn't use the dedicated notch for the grub screws (which dictates the position of the lens in the housing)

My lens is set ever so slightly proud of the housing, and angled down slightly, this is enough for the area immediately below the bumper to be illuminated in complete darkness.

The rear nudge bar is set at its "furthest out" position, to offer more protection of the lights if i nudge something.

You must of taken your time and thought out the rear flush lights, Like it.

What I was thinking (and it is just a thought) of was some slim LED fogs and mount to the towbar bracket, under the Bongo.

Why is it I get urges to spend money on things I don't really need :?

Has anyone tried to take off the cover on the rear light cluster. The reflectors look dull and inside of the lens dusty. I found two screws which I took out, and then it just looks like clips around the other sides. I could not get it to budge, and did not try too hard, as I don't want to crack the lens
The LED would not go through the hole at first ](*,) So I just made the hole a tiny bit bigger

brorabongo,
after you remove the screws, the light covers should slid outwards.
There is a film on youtube I think

Thanks for the clip, but that was not the problem. Having said that I wish I saw the clip before I removed the cluster for the first time ](*,)

It's how to take the lens cover off, once the cluster has been removed.

Cheers

Regarding under the bumper - light up the road kinda lights, I was thinking of the led strips that the boy racers use under the sills to light up the road with silly colours :? Dunno if they come in white or if they'd be bright enough though?
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

I think the bongo brings out the "creative" streak in us all brora...No way would i give so much thought to detail items on other cars, as i do the bongo!

Good idea with the underneath lighting Kirsty... ( do i detect a little bit of girl racer in you?)
