I'd love one of those, but no chance I fear :(

I now find th eopening I want to put my voltmeter in is effectively 50mm lengthwise, 35mm high and more than enough deep. All these items on ebay are bigger than that. Oh bum! Keep searching

Keefysher - you know me - why buy something off the shelf when I can spend hours making something? :) Your Imperial conversion uses top-notch gear similar to much larger motorhomes, so it has all the whistles & bells.

I've ordered several meters from the supplier on ebay including a few ammeters, so I'll be able to see the current consumption. This will show exactly how much power is being used, rather just what is left in the battery. I'll see how this project goes - maybe another idea for a kit???

Going off topic for a minute - I've got a wicked technical project up my sleeve which will make my Bongo truly unique. You'll all have to wait & see!

Mike - if you want a small digital panel meter, you'd have to go a long way to beat Lascar's DPM1 - the digits are only 5.5mm high. However, far too small to read!
