Excellent 1st Meet

Post by Jeff & Sally » Mon Sep 24, 2007 8:35 pm

Thanks to everyone for making us welcome and part of the crowd. Makes a change to meet such friendly people :!: Thanks especially to Jackie and Paul for all your hardwork and effort - Jackie for helping us with the tent in the pouring rain and then letting me use her hairdryer. =D>
Also a big thanks to Gillian and her daughter (not certain of her name-sorry!) for making Mili's 1st time with all the kids an enjoyable one.
Hope to make another meet fairly soon - we can't wait.

Jeff, Sally, Mili & Harry \:D/

Just wanted to add that it was lovely to get a look at Jackie's photo with Neil in it as well. Problem with marrying a photographer is he's rarely in the photos, as he's usually taking them! lol :D

Thanks Jackie! 8)

This is a hard one as I don’t want to forget anyone (apologies if I have – I’m still recovering! )! As so many of you helped me at the weekend! I met a load of new faces who were strangers for five minutes – bongo mates for life  !

Harry – great marquee for the social events and a ear to bend when I called him up!
Bongoplod – A very hot and lovely curry!
Snowkiter – for the ID comp and the kid’s tent area
Yorkshirelass – For doing the photo comp and my lovely bottle of wine (it didn’t last long but was very nice ….as I think I remember!)
Mellyarnold – Rounder’s equipment bought but we were too busy to use!
To Brodie – Storms missing chase with you!
Karen & keith for the Bungess- again to busy to use!
Mikeonb4C & Dynamo – what Star’s you both were …you had Winsford rocking all for free! Loved the Bongo bits in the songs  !
http://billybounder.homecall.co.uk/index.htm
Gillian – Our Bongo Angel! – The kids loved you … but the parents did even more!
Paul 9 & Sandra & NeilT- for the wine & chocolates! Yum Yum! And great photo collection that captured the weekend!
Peglegpete – making me laugh so much – and good photos too, Storm’s were great!
Waynecar8 & Jetski's familys for looking after me !
Alant54- for the Bongo Police Jacket – I loved it! Its mine now! LOL
Daveblueozzie, Bigdaddycain for PM support & Dabongo who's guidance in planning and organising the event was much needed !

Thanks to all the people who donated to and erected the marquee city! I though I was going to need planning permission for something that big!

Mark the site owner – if you get chance please send a review to his site New Farm Winsford!

http://www.newfarmbbandcaravanpark.co.uk/

– He may let us back again then next summer 2008 Yeah!

Big SHOUT out to.....

BONGOBITS

http://www.bongobits.com/Main.asp?PageName=Home

& PHIL AT JAL IMPORTS...
http://www.jalimports.co.uk/bongo_96a.htm

For the goodies they donated free of charge at the weekend!

I will say that I got up at 6.00am Sunday only to find that all the litter and rubbish had been dealt with and the Marquee tidied up – and when I left site at 1pm Sunday the site was spotless .

Thanks guys you are all star’s all of you! and last of all my lovely hubby Paul \:D/ ( Ozzy ) who support and help I couldnt have done without!

Thanks all of you for being blooming good fun! Roll on Harry’s meet at Silverdale 5th October!

It was indeed fantastic fun. The only thing I didnt do was ensure Paul didnt escape getting up to sing and play. We'll fix that next time. Get practising Paul
