Hi
I've got problems with my leisure battery not charging. My bongo came ready converted, with the split charge relay housed in a grey project box with a cut out for the blade fuse holders (3X30amp).
Any way on investigation, I found the project box full of rusty water from our so called summer, one fuse and holder showing some evidence of overheating (molten plastic) but the fuse still intact. I am assuming that the swamping has done the whole assembly no good at all.
So I need some help sourcing the parts, relay rated at 30 amps, is this sufficient for an 85 ah battery?
Also, how do I waterproof the gubbins to prevent a repeat of the problem, or am I better off mounting the components open to the air to prevent the long term bath that has lead to their failure
Many thanks
Ian

I'm upgrading to a Willinton heavy duty relay as my (and a friends too) Towsure one is now at the end of it's trimmer screw adjustment and occassionally stops working.
I've also just received a Willinton complete wiring loom/kit to fit to another Bongo later this week - I'll keep youse informed as to its fitment.
