Front CV joints knocking...

hi can anyone help where's the best/cheapest place to buy a set of front cv joints,both sides :cry: , are they easy to fit? also i'm after a resistor for the front fan, i know the fan works and theres no blown fuses as i have put a 12v feed straight to the fan. help greatly apprieciated as m.o.t. is due next friday :shock: can't believe i ve had my freda a year already! still loving it 8) oh and could any one tell me which position the fuse is for the rear wiper as i turned it on with the bike rack on and it got caught up and it hasn't worked since :roll:

Can't help with CV joints, but there's a lot on here about repairing the resistors. Fuse is 5th from left on middle row.

R.e. CV joints, I think new one's can be sourced for around £68 each fordavefreda :wink:

Befor you go buying new ones have you the right size tyres on?

They should be the same rolling diameter all round, if not they wind the transmission up & kill the economy too plus your driveshafts. Easy spot as the tyres will have worn with ramped tread blocks ;)
