installation of a Leisure Battery by an Electrickery Virgin

Post by pilajake » Thu Sep 13, 2007 6:12 pm

Hi
Finally did it :!: using an intelligent split relay system off Ebay (Willinton)

1. 1 metre of 30 amp cable
2. 4 metres of 15 amp cable
3. Two in line fuse holders ( 30 amp) with fuses
4. Two 16 amp 12 volt sockets installed in rear of Bongo side Kitchen
( All these from Maplins for £30 )
5. Intelligent split relay system off Willinton ( £30)
6. 100 amp leisure battery and battery connections £45 ( A1)

No need for me to use internal Bongo Electrics , No curtains or radio to use , simply bypassed all internal wiring and fuses and use all I need off rear 12 volt conversion sockets ( 15 amps each ) or with a decent 300 Watt converter, ( The Range £30)

All done in under Two Hours with help off my Brother all for £ 135 and a couple of home brew bottles of wine for my Brother :D
