Oh no, I've really gone and done it now!
While trying to remove the glovebox to get at the wiring behind I accidentally broke one of its hinges.
Can anyone recommend a really good glue for plastics or I read somewhere that you can perform a sort of plastic weld?!
Any ideas greatfully received.

When I used to repair the Green Shield stamp (remember them) machines we used pure acetone from the chemist for repairing any broken plastic. Brush a bit on both edges - it melts the plastic then you press the two parts together until it sets hard like a weld (just a few minutes). It runs easily though, so it's easy to get it where you don't want it.
BUT it depends exactly what type of 'plastic' it is - acetone only works on some types. Try a bit somewhere out of sight first (I mean on a bit of plastic, not sniffing it round the back of the bike sheds..
