knocking noise

wonder if anyone could help,when driving along we get an occasional knock which seems to come from under where the tool box is,i have emptied that and it still does it,hubby been underneath nothing appears to be lose,then some times when you accelorate get a cracking noise but only occasional.Grateful for any tips before taking her to the garage.

Could it be your droplinks or anti-roll bar bushes (use Search for loads of chat on BF about this).
