CD Player

I have just bought my Bongo. It has a multi CD player installed fitted under the rear seats and is connected to the radio via a mini console. I cant get it to play. It shows the disc chosen and no sound, but the radio loudness drops. It sound like it recognise the system. I had a similar problem on my imported MR2. I was told that they dont recognise the CD ???. Has anyone else had a similar problem, can it be fixed or should I throw it in the sea. !!!!!

Usual problem with Japanese fitted sound system is the radio, not the CD

It was already installed, all that I had done was for the garage I bought it off set the radio to receive uk channels

Throw it in the sea in that case!

Lots of threads here recommending what to fit. Japanese spec radios with waveband expanders are generally poor, seems to be the consensus
