Hi, I have just purchased a set of Chrome RX8 Alloys 18".
I am having real trouble with tyres, I have noticed a few people running 245/45/18s all round, are these OK, any rubbing?
I have a 2wd 1995 Bongo and have found a full set of 245/45/18s for a good price and want to check before I buy.
They have a load rating of 100, I cant find 225/45/18 or 225/40/18 tyres with a load rating of more than 92.
Thanks for any advice.
Help please

Hi
245/45x18 will mean that you are doing 61.6mph when your speedo reads 60 - see http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
Don't know about 245s rubbing, but I'm pretty sure others use them with no problems.
