Saved by the buzzer/led

Post by haydn callow » Fri Aug 24, 2007 2:26 pm

Just had a call from a chap who bought a coolant alarm off e bay. Belting down the motorway when his alarm went off, Pulled over and then noticed his temp guage was reading normal although plenty of steam in cab. Bleed pipe above alternator had worn through. Fixed by RAC and now on his way for the bank holiday in Scotland.
Full of thanks and says he will join the forum and put up a post about his adventure.
About 50 fitted to date and thats 2 that have done their job.

fitted my engine saver this afternoon nice and simple, the instructions said cut the yellow green wire to leccy blinds ,well mine does not have leccy blinds, cut the wire anyway, everything works fine, another thing not to worry over.also fitted a piece of hose pipe over bleed pipe ,showing slight wear.thanks haydn .
Lost without my Bongo.
