Ours just has the speedo in MPH - the 'milage' is still in KM - we have no plans to chip it

Same here I just the mot guys about it, not worth the hassle to chip it.

I'm sure you are an honest bloke Griffin,in your case its completely legitimate,what i didn't include, but probably should have, was that i dont think dealers/importers should adjust the figure to show an estimated mileage (in miles) from new... Can they really resist the temptation of knocking a few miles off while they have the odometer in their hands?

Everybody knows (Except a newbie)that the bongo was a domestic vehicle designed for japan only,they use kms/kph only,i'm just suggesting that although a quick conversion is required in my case,its as honest a way of showing the mileage to a potential future owner.

It took me half an hour to reset , fit and test the Mazda 626 MPH speedo which i got for £10 from a scrappie Get hold of one and save yourself the hassle .It really is a doddle
