Correct tyre size for Bongo

Post by surfnut » Thu Aug 16, 2007 5:04 pm

I`ve just been checking mine and I`ve got
215/55Z R16 on the front,
and 225/SS R16 94Vs on the back.
Checked in the members area, and this is bigger than any mentioned there. She does feel overly `light` and a bit `rolly` some times, could this be it? :? Surfnut

Back ones are about right (1% too small)

Front ones 2.7% too small, so difference front -back is 1.7%. Probably a bad thing if 4wd.

Checked Using:

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I've forgotten what the load rating needed is - I think it's 96 - but that is on the members area.

Thanks guys. Trev, mine`s 2WD and I also meant to ask if anyone knows what the correct pressures should be, as mine are 16s and in the door arch it only shows 15s. Thanks on advance :) Surfnut
