Rear fan blower
Hi Everyone,
I have been searching for information regarding the rear fan blower, it doesn't seem to be working anymore. The rear heater switch on the dashboard lights up, but nothing happens! My front one packed up and I replaced the resistor, which did not fix the issue as the motor had seized, I therefore replaced that and all is working well!
Thanks to this thread http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... t=rear+fan
I have located where the rear fan is, but before I take off the panel I wanted to know is there a similar resistor that could need replacing and where is this located?
Any help would be most appreciated!
Thanks.
Maurice

Re: Rear fan blower
hi Maurice, the answer to your question is yes, if you strip the cover housing off the rear controlls, and under that there is a resistor (same as the front one), cant remember exactley where it is but i did see it when i took off the plastic housing to see if i could see where the aircon gas was leaking frommatcor wrote:Hi Everyone,

Thanks all, but there is definitely a problem with the blower.
Wayne: Do I need to take the whole panel off as indicated in the image on this thread http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... t=rear+fan
Or can I simply remove the control panel housing to get to the resistor?
Regards,
Maurice.

Well, i just took the whole panel off as i was looking for a leak but if you take the control panel bit off, you will be able to get to it, (if i remember rightly)matcor wrote:Thanks all, but there is definitely a problem with the blower.
