Any ideas!! the sliding door is continually trying to close itself, even when shut, and you are driving along. :?

Mine did this the other week following on from someone slamming it shut.It seemed to be confused as to what to do!!It was whirring and clicking away whilst on the move especially if I locked all doors from the drivers door.
I just opened and shut it a few times and suddenly it started to work ok again with no problems since.

I had a hire car recently,(dodge grand caravan) that has a sliding door on each side, but no electric closing assistance, after having a fortnight of going round the car closing both doors properly (the kids had got used to the bongo's electric closure).
Then suddenly, the bongo's sliding door keeps getting slammed shut again! It's only taken four years to drum into them that it doesn't NEED to be slammed... there's my next 4 years of whingeing taken care of then!
