center consul cubby box/armrest

hi all my armrest cubby box clip isnt clipping correctly have checked it out but there doesnt seem to be a spring , does anyone know a fix?? , i was wondering if a pen spring glued from the release clip to the box might do ??anyone else suffered the same problem and how did you overcome it
any pics ??

just take the locking bit off totally. mine came without one, and it doesnt make any difference, the lid doesnt bang and bounce or anything doesnt fall out.

well i went ahead and done the pen spring and it works perfect

mine hasnt got the locking part on at all, and it does the job
