Gotta bita judder

Post by Clive and Sarah » Wed Aug 08, 2007 10:21 am

Hi everyone. Getting some occasional judder when accelerating at near stationary speed on a steep hill.... especially if fullish lock. All smooth and OK otherwise ?Anything to worry about.

Thanks.

Hi

I had a similar judder, although it occurred at near full lock on the level as well as on hills. It was cured by changing differential oil. Cheap and easy so worth a try.

Hi
Most likely going to be from the rear diff I had the same problem a short time after I changed the oil but on speaking to Simon at Dunnings Transmissions he advised me to get a bottle of LSD additive from a Jeep dealers and add to the rear diff this cured the problem for mear £3.76 :D .
