ABS Warning light

Post by lochan2 » Tue Aug 07, 2007 4:54 pm

Hi, Just completed a 2,500mile trip down to Rugby, Newcastle,Somerset,Dorset and Devon and unhappily my ABS warning light is on constantly. Does anyone know how easy it is to check the ABS wheel sensors and whether they are fitted to all 4 wheels on my 4WD.
I've check fluid level and thats ok, and am a bit loathe to seek garage help yet. Your friendly advice most welcome!

:D :o 8) Hi, my ABS light would come on then flash and the ABS would kick in. posted the problem on the site and was told to check the wiring behind the instrument pods as poorly insulated. Unclipped the terminals cleaned them up and put back all O.k now.
cheers Paul

I also had the abs warning light come on and also the heater/aircon dash would go dim (without the van lights on )and it was found that the rear side light bulb on driverside had a bad connection replaced the bulb and all has been well for close on 18 months now
