pink 30 amp tranparant fuses btm of fuse holder under s/whee

Post by PETE » Sun Aug 05, 2007 1:13 pm

:oI joined the forum for the first time yesterday and was immeadiatly pulled out of the doo doo by Harry over an electrical problem. so the windows go up and down a treat and I'm very thankful, but I think I may have caused another problem by pulling fuses before I went on the forum. I pulled all of the fuses in the holder under the steering wheel and when I got to the two pink ones at the bottom and tried to pull them they practically disintigrated on testing them I found one had blown and regardless of its state the other one still made a circuit theese look like some sort of a surge fuse to me but what are they for? I have put Bongo back together now and everything works including my roof tent all lights every thing and that is without the said fuses. So what could be going on what are they supposed to power or protect? is there any one out there in Bongoland know what the hell I'm on about. HELP! regards PETE
