I need two new rear tyres.
I wanted to get some Nangkangs seeing as they seem to get the thumbs up here. Unfortunately nobody seems to stock them round these parts.
Whilst keeping and eye on the £££ I would like a half decent tyre. A local fitter suggested Marshal at £55 a pop fitted.
Anyone had Marshals fitted to their van?

Thanks for the tip trekie.
I've already had a look on black circles, mytyres etc. but they don't list any local fitters within about 15 miles from me.
I have a fitter just round the corner from my house and two on the industrial estate where I work.
The one just round the corner can do the the Marshals. Ok they're about £15 more than the Nangkangs but what I lose in £££ I figure I gain in saved fuel and time. I just don't know what Marshals are like.

Just need a little bit of reassurance since I've never heard of them before.
I remember buying cheap bike tyres when I was a nipper. I think they were called Chin Shing. I seem to recall they were square in profile and and such a hard compond they may have well been plastic. Still they lastest a long time just weren't to hot prone on the bends. Don't really want to repeat that experience!

Marshall Tyres
I am not sure which Marshall Tyre you intend to fit, a reinforced tyre with a load rating of about 100 I would hope, but here are a couple of reports for car tyres:-

PS. It looks like the LOWER the score the better the result.
Hope this helps.
