IT SOUNDS LIKE A BELT SLIPPING

JUST RECENTLY WHEN ACCELERATING I AM GETTING THIS SORT OF BELT SLIPPING NOISE , MOSTLY WHEN COLD, ONCE WARMED UP THE NOISE STOPS, I HAVE CHECKED BELTS AND THEY SEEM OK, ANY SUGGESTIONS, CHEERS, LEE

check your manifold studs, one of the exhaust ones has been known to break off

NO 1 manifold stud. The only one you can see. Just above and right of the alternator. Easy to get fixed.

You may be able to remove the bust bit with a stud extractor.(easy fix)
Or. Have it drilled out and helicoiled. Any decent garage, less than £ 100

Easy for a garage, they drill it out and fit a helicoil - average price seems to be about £60.

it is because when you post in capital letters instead of lower case it is considered shouting :wink: distance makes no difference :wink:

i am fine driving, its just reading & looking at these screens for long periods of time, & its a vane thing, lol,,,,,,
