Fuel Guage Packed in .

Fuel Guage Has Stopped Working.

I am sure there will be a number of possible causes can anyone
point me in the right direction.

Hi Shane, have you checked the earth wire on the fuel sender, its hidden under the carpet under middle seats, you will see a metal plate undo the screws to reveal the sender, check contacts arre clean and re earth if necessary :wink:

it is back working. It could be as you said I will have a look,

a common fault with them.
the connection with the earth is a very small pop rivet which comes loose so you get an intermittant fault then nothing, clean up one of the screws on the plate and crimp a piece of wire between that and the wire nearest to the front of the bongo on the plug connection, that one is the earth providing they havnt changed from a 95 model. i believe the colour is black.
