I did find the small drain plug when I did mine.....it's very difficult to get to, but if you lie under the drivers side of the van (when it's on axle stands of course) and follow all the hoses and pipes you'll find it. When I undid mine I didn't get much water out but I DID get quite a lot of sludgy crap out of it even though it's a tiny hole....you need to keep poking it clear with a thin object, while it's draining. If you leave this drain open while flushing the system you'll get quite a lot more crap out of it! I think that most people don't bother with this but it is there!
I reckon I only got about 8 litres out of mine when I drained it...I posted about this at the time and was advised that quite a lot of coolant is 'stuck' in the rear heater system so you're unlikey to get the full compliment out!

since atempting to change my coolant with the help of ...peg leg pete
i have since discovered i have a leak which seems to be coming from the water pump ...which i have ordered and need to change ....managed to save most of the coolant which seeped out and i discovered the other drain plug ...upper hose drivers side conects to metal pipe its on their underneath....so will drain the remainder and the other drain plug when i receive the new water pump so bongo will be off road for a few days ....i have changed my mind about doing the drop links as have tryed and failed with the first seized nut i came across thats with the blow torch and even the nut splitter failed oh dear
