Yesterday as I started to pull away loads of the lights on the dash flashed like crazy. I stopped switched off the aircon and they stopped

Is this connected to the speedo chip? I think I've read summit like this before. It's been fine since aircon or no aircon.

Bad connection on my battery. Cleaned and all is well.
