Heater plug warning light flashing

Post by hurricane » Mon Jul 16, 2007 12:10 pm

My heater plug warning lamp has started flashing continuously. The engine starts fine so I don,t think there is a fault with the plugs. The drivers manual refers to this lamp coming on if there is a fault with the cooling fans but I have no cooling problems. Does anyone know why this lamp should flash.

do not know if it is any way related to your problem

i recently put a leisure battery in mine and hardwired it into fuses
1 and 8 the internal gubbins and rear lighter output for permanent live
i started the engine without rejoining the 2 wires the engine started but the heater plug light flashed until i rewired power to them

long winded but try the fuses top left and right in the fusebox under the steering wheel

worth a shot
