Post by Nobby » Sun Jul 15, 2007 8:18 pm

Hi, All I need a front drivers side brake caliper for my Ford Freda 1996 2WD anyone got one spare? Will pick it up if it's closed ish to Bristol
(The postage would cost more than the caliper)

Cheers

John, I got a rear one from a guy in Cardiff a few weeks ago for £25 (plus £5:10 to the French for the Bridge)
I have had a few problems with Freda & only had her for a month.

Cheers nobby

Thanks to all who have posted replys, I am picking the second hand caliper up on Tuesday and fitting it the same night as I have the MOT on Thursday.

The problems we have had with Freda are:

Front fan U/S New one on Ebay £100
Fan resister Fixed by me for free thanks to this web site (Ta again )
Rear caliper Second hand one £25
Front caliper Second hand one £25
Rear hub oil seals New £20
Comp set off brake pads New £39
Wiper set (of 3) New on Ebay £12

Bits I had to get anyway:
Two front tyres New £80

Me & the kids still love her but the wifes not so keen

Cheers Pat
