Pela pump oil change - way to go dudes!

Post by mikeonb4c » Wed Jul 11, 2007 10:50 pm

Did an oil change with the Pela 6000 pump bought (thanks smartmonkey for putting me on to the vendor).

Can't recommend it highly enough. It sucked out 6.5 litres (how does that work - capacity minus the filter is only 6.2l or thereabouts!) so it got the lot alright. no mess, no fuss, no drama, and the calibrated container means you know exactly how much new oil to put in. Even when I come to change my filter, I'll use the Pela. Why fuss about removing the sump plug when you dont have to!!!

Treat yourself to one. They are great.

You can get them from chandlers as they were devised for boats. £30 if you shop around.

Thay are very useful at sucking a bit of oil out if you have too much in.

p.s Mike - told you so.
