Have you checked out the fact sheet on rear door electrics in the members-only area?

can only agree with pippin
i had the same problem
i stripped it all out from where it goes into the rear door and replaced it with trailer wire which did the job spot on and is very well insulated and used to being moved about

THANKS for your replies folks.......it certainly sounds cheaper to replace a wire than to buy a 'unit' of somekind !!!!!! :o
