I NEED A SUMP!!!!!!!!!

OVER THE PAST TWO WEEKS I'VE PIMPED MY NEWLY BOUGHT BONGO!!!

Grtting ready for 4 weeks around Europe, had a conversion done, LCD satalite DVD, the works new paint job. All done by the same garage, fantastic!!

Now there was very little service history with my new purchase, although it had just past it's MOT i decided to go for a Service, bottom line the sum is f***ed!!

I'm only aweek off before me and the Mrs are meant to be off..I havn't told her the news yet..

ANY IDEAS WHERE TO GET MY HANDSON A SUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a VERY SAD OVER AND OUT!!!

Fur coat and no knickers eh? Personally I would have concentrated on the mechanics first but hey ho.

You may get a replacement sump from a scrappie such as Bell Hill (link on home page) but it's unlikely they would break an engine unless they have one that is fried. You may have to consider buying new from a Mazda dealer (prepare to cut your holiday spending budget) or BongoBits (again link on home page). Don't want to sound too pessimistic but you may not meet your deadline of a week.

I KNOW ,I KNOW , IKNOW , basics first but I thought I would treat her thinking that she had had a service around the MOT time. Any how’s, I’ve managed to locate another sump through AVA leisure... It's weird, I asked my mechanic to telephone Andy @ AVA, Andy explained to him that the sump he has , has the same fault as mines, only that his sump has been on a shelf for a year or so and is clean and dry which gives my mechanic a clean welding point. FFS

Try Bell Hill talk to Tom they have fitted replacement engins so may have one they can help you with.

tell us all what the fault is with your sump it may be a common fault so we can go and check ours

There is a small crack at the top of the thread in the inside, this causes the shaft to slightly buckle. Well thats my understanding..I'll have a full report on Monday after my mechanic finishes the job.

Eh ??

Am I missing some strange bit of bongo science here, to me a sump is a square bucket bolted on bottom of engine that holds the oil, where does a shaft figure in this?
