Bongo Maintainance

Post by domthompson123 » Tue Jul 03, 2007 8:57 pm

Hello there !

My Dad who is computer illiterate and can't post this is very seriously thinking about buying a Bongo but is worried about keeping it maintained and repaired, accessing parts etc Since some of the vehicles are getting to an age where they might need abit of tlc and being an import does anyone have any problems with mechanics etc.

He lives in the Leicester area

Thanks

Dominic

Hi Dominic

No probs with maintainance via Bongo Friendly garages (see members only lists) and parts no problem at all.

If looked after bongos are super reliable

I've done over 120,000km in mine since August 2005 with only minor probs..all fixed easily and cheaply.

godd luck

Hi, I do all my own servicing repairs etc, service parts are cheaper than what i paid for on my previous car , parts are plentiful from motor factors, Mazda dealers dealers on this site and ebay. So go and buy a Bongo or Freda and enjoy some worry free motoring. Ive had my Freda 18 months and havent regretted it :D :D :D
If I had all the money I ever spent on my Freda ............ I`d spend it on my Freda.

There's one or two places around leic/derby that can help out if there's any jobs you can't do (or can't be arsed). There's a garage in Anstey which is on your doorstep :)
