Hi all,
Had our Bongo now for a years.
We have some rust on the rear arches. Unfortunately there is no way we have the spare money to get this job done.
So a patch up job is my option.
Does anyone know please where to get or recommend some wheel arch trims. So I can cover it up and at least make ...

Alternator connector?
Hi,
Fitted the new alternator, all seem OK and back to normal
When removing the old alternator, I managed to pull out the thin wire (Other is the thicker brown one) that fits into the electrical connector, that's in-turn push fitted into the main body of the alternator
I couldn't work out how to ...

I have gone ahead and ordered an alternator.
Any advice or suggestions on fitting this please?

Sediment & Charge light
Hi all,
I have these lights lit up.
I have seen that this could be an alternator fault.
The lights are dim on start up and then after 20 mins, very dim and only visible dark/dusk.
Question is: Does the brightness indicate the level of problem. So as they are dim, is the problem currently minor ...

Re: Rear Seat to Mid seat position?
Thanks Frank,
The seats I have are one compleate unit and fold back as one.
I will have a look out for a 2nd hand set of mid seats, so I can look to hack off single seat.
Cheers

Re: Rear Seat to Mid seat position?
Thanks as allways everyone, very help full.
My other idea was to look at keeping the kitchen where it is, and cuting/modifing the current rear seats.
This would make them narrow and allow them to be moved up and down the van as required.
Would also make it eaiser to get at the kitchen unit.

Hi,
I have a R, Reg Bongo.
With Mid converstion cabenet along the side of the van behind drivers seat.
My idea is to shift this so it fits in the rear section of the van.
But I would like to then move the current full width rear seat up towards the front and into the Mid seat position.

Re: Experienced Garage in the South Wales area?
A&S for me as well. Andy hs done a few jobs on our van over the years as well as regular servicing.
No problems and we will continue to take our van there.
