From the refinery tonight from the person that knows, or not.! It's all gone quiet on when, it's in the hands of Boris. To bring in E10 the refineries that feed into the national pipeline (all of em) would need to lower the octane level of the petrols they make or ship into it. The distribution term...

Re: fitting lap belts to reversed middle bench seat

It's longer than last week, so I cannot remember much more other than said above. Bolted the new longer stalks to the existing lapstrap bolts then made outer edge seat brackets so that the new lapstraps fastened towards the centre of the seat. Got cassette type belts so that when undone they didn't ...

Re: fitting lap belts to reversed middle bench seat

Don't think anyone did a how-to, with or without pics. I converted the wife's using Toyota Lucida belts taken from one with captains spinning seats. It worked really well I did have to make some mounting brackets and use the longer floor mounted stalks etc but it was very successful in my opinion an...

Re: Clean fuel lines 2.5td

There is a filter on the end of the pick up pipe inside the tank, undo the pipe before the filter housing and gently blow back to the tank, don't go mad or you may blow the pickup filter off the end of the pickup tube. Best to do it with a low filled fuel tank and have the bongo level, blow back to ...

Re: Halfords Oil

The main thing to think about after the main headline grade , 5w 30 or 40 etc diesel or petrol is whether it's a suitable oil for, in this case diesels with egr or particulate filters etc. Diesels fitted with a WORKING egr need a suitable engine oil, these oils suspend and flush the soot that the eg...

Re: Bongo won’t start after service? Help!

Re: Fuel leak

The pic shows the inlet manifold, the manifold delivers air to the engine, the air is under pressure from the turbo so any excess that the engine doesn't need is bubbling out at the joint, it has a gasket that may have failed so strip off and clean. The excess air is probably being expelled if the m...
