Still no joy, the garage i use changed all three belts, when i wen tto pick up the van they said oh, yer alternator is making a funny noise..?
so i get a replacement alternator, take it to my local bongo garage and they said its nothing to do with the alternator and they said they fixed it..

light weird squeal after driving through flood

Hi All,

I drove through water only 6 inches deep yesterday and this morninig when i drove to work ( and on way home)
i have a very faint whining sound cominig from front of engine, its not wheel berings as the sound can be heard when reving staionary... it get louder as i rev more, it's not very ...

The rear heater is pumping out lots of heat, the front does still blow pretty hot air out but like i said only when i set it to 28+..

so many conflicting possibilities i do not know what to do..i dont want to use up a day of my holiday if i dont have to but i dont want a melted lump under my seat ...

The gauge moved about 1 cm.. as soon as i noticed i slowed down to 65-70 and gauge went back to normal.
the back of the van was full with "holiday stuff" that must have weighed a bit as i noticed the rear was lower than usual,
now, when i took her for a service in march the chap said that my newish ...

i find it strange how the heat does come through but not until i crank it up to 28+
it used to start blowing heat at around 17, although i guess that depends on cabin temps.

i think i have aged about 10 years in the 17 months i have had my bongo..

I was driving down the the motorway yesterday with a full load doing about 75 when i noticed the temp gauge went up,i think this was because i was pushing her a bit hard
so i slowed down and the temp went back to normal, i went into service station to check fluids and all coolant was still ...

Just fitted a new relay that willington sent me and it still clicks ,
i have noticed that my hands free kit is wired to the stereo live so i may fit a switch
that will keep the stereo and the hands free off while the van is off

funny thing is i had no clicking for 6 months, took it to a garage for ...

Hi, Never heard this noise before but as i was away for a week i thought i would start the bongo up
as its been sitting around for a week..
any way after the van had started i could immediately hear a relay switching on and off for about 8 to 10 seconds, everytime the relay came on it would make the ...

Ok , so i picked up the van from the garage,
starts first time now, they replaced the front and side diesel pump seals.
The old seals were brittle .

Well i am happy now, just got to cure these clicking front brakes..
