Re: Air-con Compressor

Hi. Thanks for reply. I get a screeching noise when the Aircon is put on. It goes as soon as I switch it off.
Itook the Van to a garage, they put a new aircon fan belt on but it made no difference. So they said it waqs the pump/compressor.
They could not trace the number of a replacement.

Air-con Compressor

I have a 1996 Ford Freda (VIN/Chassis/Frame No. SGL5-107145) and the Aircon pump/compressor seems to have gone (have tried the belt). Does anyone know the number of pump or where I can get one please?
Thanks

Faulty Electric Sliding Door

Just had a lovely month abroad in our Freda, and our sliding door lets us down on a wet Yorkshire campsite.
It opens and closes(almost) manually, but will not operate the last bit electrically. I have followed the Factsheet carefully- checked the fuse; tried disconnecting the battery, tried cleaning ...

Re: Power Pack

Hi,
Thank you both for your replies.
I perhaps should have explained- our fridge, which is fitted in the freda, is a Matsui Table Top Fridge which says the input power is 65 watt. It runs from 230v. I have tried to run it from the cigarette lighter with a small inverter, but the inverter was not man ...
