Re: Electrical issue relating to LB and stereo.
I've managed to sort it with a switch from the leisure battery. There wasn't anywhere else, including under the bonnet, where I could successfully piggy back off so a switch was the way to go. The stereo is now happy and so are the batteries. I'm still getting a switching of the split charge relay ...

Re: Electrical issue relating to LB and stereo.
Hi, the original stereo (cheap Chinese double din £40) mustn't have drawn much power as I never had any issues with it for years other than the screen went bad.
I then bought a more expensive Chinese one with phone mirroring etc and that's initially when the issues started. It would turn itself on ...

Electrical issue relating to LB and stereo.
I've splashed out on an expensive stereo but disappointingly it's not happy running off the leisure battery. The voltage of the battery is all over the place and gets discharged and the stereo is trying to turn on. It may have something to do with the solar panels but I'm not sure. What I do know is ...

Diesel Injector replacement
I'm changing my diesel injectors and thought it would be as quick as changing 4 spark plugs. Well apparently it's not that simple. I've got to the point of removing the fuel rail but it's obstructed by the silver manifold. Does this have to come off or is there a way around it? Thanks.

Re: Auto Transmission Pipes Replacement
What an absolute pig of a job that is. Fortunately I'll never have to do it again but I recommend taking it to a garage with ramps rather than DIY at home.

Auto Transmission Pipes Replacement
Hi, advice needed please before the van accidentally goes on fire. I'm replacing the auto transmission pipes and have managed to disconnect the hoses and the 4 clamps holding them to the chassis but can't see how they come out.

Re: Exodus Roof Box on AFT
Thanks I want the half width. If the issue is actually putting the box up that's OK as it'll be done at home on ladders. If I do go for the new dawn full length rack I might get the ladders that go with it to take away as they break down to smaller pieces. Not keen on u-bolts attaching to square bar ...

Exodus Roof Box on AFT
As the roof bars for a bongo are steel square box section from New Dawn, how do people attach the exodus roof box I've seen on top of them?

Re: This is a strange one.
Almost certainly there will be some body warmth traveling through the bag then sheepskin thing then mattress but I'm surprised as the plastic is actually wet to the touch and I have to dry the mattress out. It's definitely not coming from the outside as last week it didn't rain when I was away. It's ...

This is a strange one.
So firstly the factory plastic is still on the bit you lie on in the roof section which I've never taken it off as haven't felt the need too. When I sleep up there I have a velvet type material covered foam mattress and the Bongo sheep skin type thing on top off that, then in a sleeping bag. I also ...

Re: Fiamma f35 vs f45
I bought the 45 and I'm very pleased with it. Takes 2 mins to put up (not including high wind straps). I used tamper proof bolts on the brackets gives a bit more piece of mind when it's parked up off sites.
