Re: Roof alarms and where are they situated?
I did tale out the fuse but it stopped my speedo working so can only really unplug the speakers.
What is the rearward panel? Is that that above the right back wheel inside the cab? Any ideas how to take this off?
Thanks

Roof alarms and where are they situated?
Hi all, I have a defunct pop up roof now, it's served its time but need to lock it down. Unfortunately the roof, although safely secured shut, is beeping that it's open, or being opened, anyway it's beeping.
I have unpluged the first roof alarm in the footWell drivers doors under the fuses but ...

Re: Is it my window switch or the window?
Thanks for the advice gang. What should I do about the wiring loom, take it into the local bongo mechanic or is it something I could look at myself.
Not brilliant with electrics but ok with small fixes.

Is it my window switch or the window?
I have had a recurring problem with my driver window going up for nearly a year. I thought it might be the switch but it works sometimes like this.
I open the window.
Then it will not go up again unless I leave the vehicle for say 10 mins.
Turn of ignition an go for a cuppa.
I return and turn ...

Pop top not working (switch is dead)
Hi All, I have just tried to pop the top or raise the roof up for the first time this year and it is completely dead. The switch just does not work. I have looked through my handbook but can't locate the fuse, does anyone know where this is or if it's another glitch maybe they have com across?

Cheers for the radiator info, I have checked and there is no pipe as such. Here's a picture I took from behind the rad cap.

Re: My bongo's head gasket is on the way out
The radiator just blew on a family trip to Selsey. We did have the air con on and a full load and it split at the top. The new radiator was fitted.

Re: My bongo's head gasket is on the way out
Hi Helen,
The problem started when my mechanic found a leak near the rear heater (he is a good mechanic but not a bongo specialist), someone had taken the heater out and patched up the pipes. All was fixed, bled and ran well for nearly a year including two trips to the South of France.

My bongo's head gasket is on the way out
Our beloved Bongo (Ford Freda) has had cooling problems for a while now and wondered if there was any way to save her.
* She seems to loose water on motorway runs
* The heater is always luke warm
* There is no leaking around town so system is sealed
* Our mechanic has bled her many times

Help! Radiator leak while camping
Hi all, the radiator has leaked from the top and the breakdown are on there way but I heard the system will need bleeding, is this true. If they radwell it will that be ok to drive. It's full of camping gear so quite heavy. Don't want to damage anything until I can get it fixed.
