For what it's worth, my level was always there, but never went any lower - it seemed like it was it's natural level. I had no problems with overheating etc.

Also, make sure that your tyres have sufficient load rating. Most tyres of that size are below the limit for fitting to the rear of a Bongo and many are only 91, which is not enough for even the fronts.

You have to be careful using comparison sites because you don't always get the chance to declare it as a grey import, which may account for why Elephant were a lot higher when you called them.

Another vote for 2 starter batteries, I used the nearside one as a leisure battery by fitting an isolator switch between the two batteries, so that both batteries didn't get flattened.

I have a CF9 and find that the right hand charger switch needs to be pushed in at the top to work when driving, thus charging the leisure battery and working your fridge. Push the bottom in to the "On site" position when on EHU.
