Cigarette lighter fuse

My Bongo manual tells me how to wash the vehicle, even how to drive it in long grass, but no wiring diagram. Could anybody know which fuse protects the cigar lighter, please?

Zapper/Glowplug light

Freda has remote central locking. If I unlock her and get and turn the key within 15-20 seconds, the glowplug light will come on, then go out as normal when the key can can be turned the final bit and off she'll go. If the key is turned the last bit AFTER the 15/20 seconds has elapsed, nothing will ...

Re: Central locking

Thanks again guys, esp for the directions to the fuse. I took it out and was intact. Cleaned and replaced it with a bit of a jiggle and, hey presto, central locking. I should have said originally that my c/l was retro-fitted so that all doors and the tailgate operate remotely.

Re: Central locking

Thanks guys. It's not the first time it's happened. The loom at that point has always felt tight and under stress, though the central locking and leccy window wires seem worst affected. I re-made those off with bullet connectors and ended up losing both. Doh! Will try the fuse as suggested, but don ...

Central locking

Does anyone know whether there is a relay or fuse controlling the central locking? The driver's door works perfectly, but the sliding and passenger doors don't work all of a sudden. One minute they were ok, then they stopped for no apparent reason. If there is a fuse or relay, does anyone know where ...

Re: Sliding side door

Have just thumped the door as directed and ........ IT NOW WORKS!!! Also looked up the translation thing as suggested. What a forum this is. Spot on technical (if that's the right word) advice and a bloody good laugh to boot. Thanks again everyone and for the explanation of what actually happened ...

Re: Sliding side door

.........oh, and why, if it works after getting thumped, should it stay working? What has actually happened?

Re: Sliding side door

Thanks for the tips guys. Will start with the thumping suggestion, probably accompanied with a couple of Anglo-Saxon incantations. Will let you know how things go. Why does the battery running flat make this happen? If the battery were to be changed, there would be no power to the motor during ...

Sliding side door

Freda's sliding door has decided to lock itself shut. It can't be opened from inside or out and feels 'locked' rather than floppy as though something's come adrift with the mechanism. I've removed the door card as best as I can - how does the inner handle come off? - and had a look inside, I can't ...

Re: Loss of power/smoke

Thanks for everyone's ideas/suggestions. Turned out to be a gate valve (or somesuch?) on the turbo which was stuck open (or maybe, closed) or something. Anyway, now goes like a train. B****y coal-fired bang-bang engines. It should be law that all engines should be petrol fuelled, with a minimum of 8 ...

Loss of power/smoke

Not a new topic, I know. Having read other posts, I immediately thought EGR pipe (mine is still connected and not blanked off). The full symptoms are as above, with the engine 'missing' when under load, even normal acceleration. It will also miss when at rest and revved over about 3000rpm. The ...
